Sema Show Coverage Jk Wrangler Display

To say we were disappointed with the '06 SEMA Show in Las Vegas wouldn't be totally true. We can say this-this year's SEMA was about three things: the new JK Wrangler, spray-in bedliners, and truck tonneau covers. So if you were in the market for one of those things, you were in hog heaven.

There were still the scantily clad girls, the overly blingin' rides and rims, and the goofy-sized rims and tires, so that much didn't change.

Underneath all of that, we were still actually able to come up with some new products and neat things that made the four days of shaking babies and kissing hands worthwhile.

We took this pretty picture for Cappa. With his newly admitted impulsiveness, we thought he might like to see another hot item that showed up at SEMA.
Sema Show Coverage Truck Bed Display
Here's a common site: truck beds with no trucks attached on lo-pro tires and bright aluminum rims. Notice the stock-height truck in the background-that's how they qualified to be in the off-road section of the show.

Did we mention bedliners? Of the 50 or so different bedliner pictures we took, this one got the nod just because it has flames on it. There were a lot of bedliners at this show, or did we mention that already?

 Sema Show Coverage Differential Cover
The new differential covers from Omix-Ada feature 3/8-inch thick cast steel, recessed fill plug, 3/8-inch support ribs, and a $160 price tag. They are available for most Dana axles.

Sema Show Coverage Steel Cv Joint
For anyone who has dealt with Tom Wood of the driveshaft fame, you know he's a perfectionist. Wood was tired of seeing CVs frequently fail, so he came up with this new CV made from steel, not iron. It features a modified shape to reduce stress risers, eliminated the center relief hole, and minute grooves in the ball ensure proper grease distribution.

 Sema Show Coverage Tire Deflater
Here is a deflator that allows lowering of the tire pressure to a range of pressures for different terrain with just a turn of the dial.
