Once we got into it, we realized we could get away with reusing the stock shifter, cable, and shift arm that was bolted to the transfer case with only minor modifications, keeping the soccer-mom mobileness of the rig intact from the driver seat. If you don't have a welder, you can make this from 31/416- or 11/44-inch plate. The dotted lines indicate the shape of it before we got there.
