Available with two-barrel (250hp) or four-barrel (270hp) induction, the 327 was offered in 1965 and 1966 before being replaced by the Buick-supplied Dauntless 350 (230hp) from 1968 to 1971. With American Motors' acquisition of Kaiser-Jeep midway through 1970, a return to AMC 232 and 258 (sixes) and 304, 360, and 401 V-8s was natural.
