1988 Jeep Yj Wrangler Engine View

A unique feature of Tomlinson's Wrangler is what he's done under the hood--hardly anything. The '88 four-cylinder mill isn't much more than bone-stock, not to mention that it has about 130,000 miles on it. The only add-ons are a K&N filter, electric fans, and Jacob's ignition, with Borla headers and a 2.5-inch Gibson after-cat exhaust system smoking out back. When you consider that the tranny is also stock, this YJ's powerhouse just goes to show that dynamite does come in small packages--if you have a Jeep.
