'89 Kaiser Wagoneer
Yep, it never existed, yet here it is. Pelle Klein of Costa Mesa, California, started out with a clapped-out '89 Grand Wagoneer with the intentions of taking it to Moab, the Hammers, and just beating on it. He added a Rancho lift with front and rear Dana 44 axles to clear a set of 34x9.50-15 Super Swamper TSLs. After that, it got weird. Pelle always liked the looks of the older Wags, so he swapped in a Rhino grille, three-piece bumpers, 1960s-era emblems, Kaiser 15x7 wheels and aluminum hubcaps, and a J-Truck bench seat upholstered to look more period correct. The drivetrain is left alone with an AMC 360, TF-727, and NP229. This Jeep turned out so nice that he had to buy another one to go wheeling with.
