 Jeep Shots 1993 Wrangler Sahara

K.I.S.S.

Keep It Stupid, Simple. Words to live by. Lou Misenhamer did a good job of following those four easy words when building his '93 Wrangler Sahara. With a 3 1/2-inch Black Diamond lift kit, Tom Wood's slip-yoke eliminator, a Detroit EZ Locker in the rear Dana 35, and a Lock Right in the front, he definitely kept it simple. Lou added a three-chamber Flowmaster for a better tune than stock, robbed some poor TJ of its aluminum rims, put a set of 31-inch mud terrains on them, and called it good.

Low Buck For Moab

Take your '96 XJ, throw a No Slip locker in the Chrysler 8.25 rear, add a 3-inch Rusty's budget lift, run stock-size mud tires from Wal-Mart, add a Rusty's gas-tank skidplate, and a front receiver for a tow point. Next, drive 1,500 miles from Grove City, Minnesota, to Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, with three friends from your club and camp at a $5-a-night BLM campground in 35-degree weather. All that so that he could go to Moab for Easter Jeep Safari for $600, including food, gas, and everything.
