DaimlerChrysler Three For Free Program
If you live in Canada, get ready for a screamin' deal. When buying or leasing a Jeep (or Dodge or Chrysler), you have two options of Three for Free. The first is to let DaimlerChrysler make your first three vehicle payments or give you an instant rebate. The other is when getting two vehicles, they'll throw in a Compass for free (destination and taxes will apply). This ends on February 2.
Editor Cappa Bobblehead?
From deep within the Jeep hallways, we've been told that some of the bobbleheads used in Compass commercials are based on real people who have either worked for DaimlerChrysler or are involved in the Jeep industry. So for you sharp-eyed viewers (but really, why are you sharp-eyeing anything related to Compass?), that's indeed Editor Cappa's likeness in the commercial called "Monday." And, yes, ladies, he really does wear that much lipstick around the office. And, no, he doesn't like to share.

Jeepin' Under the Influence
Ah, it's so cool it almost makes us want to make out with the roommate we just met, develop an eating disorder, cheat on the boyfriend back home, stay out all night getting pummeled in a mosh pit, drink for six months without stopping, have troubled girl love with a stranger, and do whatever else happens when people stop being polite and start getting real. All that simply so that we could partake in beverages served by the Jeep that was modified to function as a bar in the house in the newest season of the MTV show "The Real World: Denver." Ah, to be a Jeep on the wall.
XK or XK?
Seems the Battle of the Brands is now headed for court. Jaguar apparently wants Jeep to change the Commander's XK designation because of confusion at factories, with unions, and with paperwork in general. Guess it's not that internal of a coding system after all. Yeah, we'd hate for the Commander to accidentally get a $75,000-worthy execution.
