On the guy side of things, according to Canada's CBC.ca, the results of a study by researchers at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business appeared in the Organizational Behaviour and Human Decision Processes Journal, revealed that testosterone is why men drive fast. Each male volunteer was asked to drive a 16-year-old Toyota Camry and a $150,000 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. For an hour their saliva was tested for testosterone; it remained low in the Camry, high in the Porsche. The lead researcher said the study proved "sexual signaling"-basically the equivalent of thumping the chest to get a lady's attention. Editor Cappa gave disciplinary action to the Camry.
New Engines from Mopar
Three new aluminum versions of the 6.1L Hemi block will now be available from Mopar. One is a direct replacement for the cast-iron block, another is prepped for a 426ci engine, and the last is called X Block, with rough-machined bores for up to 468 ci. There's also a new 572ci Hemi crate engine worth 650 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque, as well as what seems super cool, a 4.7L stroker long-block, which makes 265 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque, and will fit any Jeep that came equipped with the factory 4.0L inline-six.

Jeep-and the Future
Oh, boy, change is never good, right? Well, except for all the times when it is. You know, like when it has been decided to finally kill off the Compass and Patriot after 2012 (did we mention finally?). A new model will replace the duo in 2013. Beyond that, you might need to start quivering about some changes in Jeep's future. For example, there's talk that 2010 will bring a new Wrangler interior, while 2011 has a mysterious "major modification" to that Jeep. Maybe a diesel option? There will also be new Wrangler models, and possibly Wrangler-inspired offspring. How about a pickup? Fiat's being mentioned even more than usual, like for 2013, when the Liberty will get a Fiat platform as will a brand-new small Jeep. Fiat will also show up under the hood; its Multi-Air technology for improving fuel economy will appear on the global gas engines. Because Jeep will turn 70 in 2011, expect commemorative editions of every model to fest the occasion. So to sum up Chrysler's long-range plan for the future, it's to have a future.
