New Wrangler Freedom
The new ’12 Wrangler Freedom edition was designed with a nod to military, both Jeep’s past and those who have or are serving in the military. The Freedom comes in the colors you’d expect—if you’re slow, we mean red, white, and blue—and further specialties include a star decal on the hood and rear quarter-panels and exterior and interior badging that says “Oscar Mike”— military-speak for on the move. For every Freedom sale, Jeep is giving $250 to charities benefiting U.S. military members—Fisher House Foundation and I Support Foundation. Additionally, Chrysler gives a $500 cash allowance to military members interested in buying or leasing a vehicle from any of the Chrysler brands. The MSRP for the Freedom is $28,165 for the two-door and $30,670 for the four-door.
