You can see how far forward I needed to position the drivetrain for throttle-body and exhaust clearance. I could have turned the throttle body around to the front and built custom headers so I could lay the drivetrain back. However, that would require relocating the power-steering pump and make for a much shorter rear driveshaft -- not feasible with the low-pinion 9-inch rear I used. View Related Article
