The rear springs that came on the CJ-6 were stiff 15-leaf packs that had broken and welded main leaves.

Our CJ-6 only came with three shocks, and all but one of those were blown.

The front springs seemed OK at first, but a closer inspection revealed a broken main eye on one, so some heavy-duty 10-leaf replacements were ordered.

We always dug the old-school look of a spare hung on the rear quarter of a Jeep, so we ordered up a spare tire carrier from 4Wheel Drive Hardware.
