At this point, we took the XJ on its first wheeling trip. One of our buddies following us noticed that the rear wheel was vibrating really badly on the highway. We didn't notice because of how beat the tires were. But when we got home, we found that the axleshaft was bent and almost 3/8-inch out of true. We swapped in a junkyard shaft, but the damage was done: Our half-bald Swampers had had it. So, we got a set new set of 30x9.50R15 Goodyear MT/Rs and mounted them on our DC-1 wheels. View Related Article
