I'm doing the same swap in my garage right now, so this is very helpful. I was just wonderingif anyone know what to do about the 4l60e changing it to 4wd? I am trying to figure out something. Keep the np231 and get the novak adapter kit pn#4L61 for $550 freakin dollars? any cheaper ideas?

im swapping a v8 into my jeep also. im using a 700r4 trans and a transfer case out of an s10 blaser. if u do some research u can find one with the same splines as the jeep so the jeep driveshaft doesnt need any modifications. as for ur trans. its cheaper to find a 4wd trans than us a trans adaptor
