Hey guys. Good to see what a 3k TJ can do. How are the G2 axle shafts holding up on the d35? I noticed you were carrying an axle swap in the back so I assume you are expecting a problem at some point. Also have you added rear lockers now? I am interested in a cheap upgrade to my d35 axle so would like to know how the G2 shafts are working out. I have a 2000 TJ with 4.0 auto trans and looking to copy your build. I enjoy the magazine. Keep up the good work.

Alas the Dana 35 that was in the 3K 3Day TJ is long gone. We wanted to run a rear locker and thats generally a bad idea with a Dana 35 even with aftermarket shafts. We now run this axle:

We have so little confidence in the Dana 35 that we carried the stock shafts as spares even with an open diff. Now that the Jeep has a Toyota rear axle we carry front shafts, a spare unit bearing, and spare ball joints.
