Jeep M35A2 Military Truck - Impulse Deuce
The Grapevine on I-5 outside of Bakersfield climbs 2,500 feet in less than 12 miles. The deuce gained speed (from a dead stop at the bottom) the whole way up and then held 55 mph. However, the water temperature slowly rose to just over 200 degrees. A pyrometer would have been a nice feature to keep track of the exhaust temperature. View Related Article
