Real Jeep Cage
The JK Wrangler made a lot of steps forward in design, but one place many of us feel underwhelmed is with the stock "roll cage." We know that a tube is stronger than any other shape, but to interface with the top and seatbelts, the stock JK cage is some kind of formed sheetmetal, and like all jeeps before it, doesn't tie the front portion into the floor. Fix that easily with the JK Sport Cage from OR-Fab. Made from 13/4-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall tube, the kit bolts together and features driver and passenger grab handles with two front streamer bars for addition strength and rigidity. Strong Shiny Turd
We know how much the straps that hold our U-joints in suck. We would all rather use U-bolts, but not all of us are willing or able to replace the yoke to get them. Enter Pro Gear's T.U.R.D. (Titanium U-joint Retaining Device). These burly caps are CNC-machined from titanium, and ship with Grade 8 cap head bolts. Flexy Fender
In a world gone tube-fender mad, it is nice to see a company that thinks outside the box. Modern Classic Enterprises has come up with a slick solution to the bent sheetmetal fender issue. The company is building ABS plastic fenders that flex and then return to their original shape instead of transferring impacts onto the body tub and/or the hood. Bolt-On
Stronger than the OE driveshafts, featuring .188-wall tubing and 1310 or 1350 U-joint availability, these heavy-duty drivelines from J.E. Reel are an easy bolt-on solution to your lifted JK shaft woes. They are rated for up to a 41/2-inch-lift for a two-door and up to 61/2-inch-lift for a four-door. If going over 41/2 inches of lift on a two-door, a 1350 rear U-joint is suggested. The available Canyon Crawler upgrade features a bigger and stronger slip joint and splines. New Old Mount
If you've got a Gen III or Gen IV small-block Chevy V-8 in your Jeep but want to retain a nostalgic look, Inglese has the solution. Strong Featherweight
We all want a stronger-than-stock bumper, but the cost in weight is not always one we want to pay.
