Smart Injection
FAST has been building fuel-injection systems for years and is now specifically targeting the Jeep market in a big way with a self-tuning system for all ’72-’90 Jeeps with the 4.2L inline-six. The kit includes a four-barrel throttle body housing two injectors, adapter plate (so you don’t have to replace your existing manifold), weatherproof ECU, wiring harness, hand-held interface, and all the hardware and parts required for installation. The kits are available with either an in-tank or external electric fuel pump.

MagLite holders are all well and good to attach your license plate to your fairlead, but unless you back the plate with some kind of metal it will eventually tear. And once you source, cut, de-burr, and paint your home-brew setup and get it all together it is only a matter of time before you lose it somehow. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a good way to integrate a Chevy V-8 into an ’07-’11 Wrangler—until now. MoTech has figured out how to make a Chevy V-8 play nice with the JK’s can-bus system. It works for all GM Gen III and Gen IV engines including the 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, 6.2, and 7.0L variants. The kit also supports GM’s AFM/DOD four-cylinder mode, VVT cam phasing, and all original emissions equipment. Options include cruise control, tap-shift for the 6L80E transmission, and a heavy-duty aluminum radiator. The kit includes brackets to reuse all the factory JK front accessories as well as GM hydraulic engine mounts.
