Jeep parts aren't immune to the recent price hikes that everything has been seeing; with the price of steel and other expenditures, manufacturers need to pass their increased cost of day-to-day operations along. Don't get us wrong, we don't fault them for it, but it has made finding good, sub-$100 parts for our Jeeps almost impossible. With the theme for this issue being cheap Jeeps, we decided to see what kind of cool, simple modifications we could round up for less than a C-note.

They are made out of heavy-duty rubber and will help keep those random leaks from attacking that floorboard sheetmetal, not to mention resist damage to the underlying paint due to abrasion. Here's The BeefThere are two kinds of Jeepers: the ones who have destroyed the flimsy rear crossmember, and the lucky kind who have never been really stuck. Even with an aftermarket rear bumper, one good pull is often enough to tear the factory welds and leave you with a half-attached crossmember. These Frame Plates from M.O.R.E. are only $79, are made from 3/16-inch steel, and are precut and drilled to your '76-'95 CJ or YJ pattern.
