After the case is clean and has a new gasket (or RTV silicone), slap the halves back together and tighten the bolts. Because the case is aluminum, be careful not to cross-thread the fasteners, and torque them with a torque wrench to spec. The reduction unit can be installed along with all the other peripherals, then filled with the correct fluid for your application.
