We couldnt figure out why the wheels wouldnt turn. A quick look underneath and we found the steering box doing a little hula dancing. Pat Gremillion of Premier Power fame helped out by welding a wrench and a large bolt to the mount for support to get us off the trail.
When its 11:00 at night, cold as hell, and your steering box is sitting on the ground instead of on the frame, you can bet youre in for an early morning extrication. Yeah, we eventually got back to camp, 11 hours later. The best way to avoid this situation is to build it right the first time.
