Why Put Good Money Into an Axle That Appears to Have So Many Weaknesses?
It’s common to find the axletubes on AMC 20 axles welded to the centersections. This one is weld-free. Four short stitch welds (about 1/2 inch long) around the diameter will hold the tubes just fine.
