The axle bearings on AMC 20 axles are not bathed in gear oil. Don’t be fooled by one-piece kits with grease fittings attached to the retainer. They don’t properly lubricate the bearing. If deep water and mud is the norm for your Jeep, remove the axles and grease the bearings after each outing. View Related Article
