The first task was to remove the old exhaust system between the exhaust manifold and the front of the catalytic converter. This allowed us to remove the existing oil pan and install the oil pan provided with the kit. The new exhaust system (left) is routed up through the turbo instead of straight back to the catalytic converter. The hole in the exhaust-system flange mounts to a corner of the air-conditioning bracket for support. View Related Article
