The 1949-53 Ford flathead V-8s were once popular engines due to their availability and compact size. Note that this one sports an alternator conversion. The smallish air filter leaves a lot to be desired in filtration ability. In case you're wondering, the large can on the right rear of the engine is an oil filter. View Related Article
